Admission requirements:

Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification at NQF Level 8, and must demonstrate prior experience in teaching, facilitating learning, or providing academic support within an educational context. Applicants who do not meet the formal qualification requirements may be considered for admission through the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process, which assesses professional competence and readiness to engage successfully with the programme. Candidates holding legacy or outdated teaching qualifications may be required to complete an appropriate bridging module, such as Professional Teaching Fundamentals or Digital Pedagogies Orientation, to ensure alignment with current academic and pedagogical standards. Alternatively, such candidates may undergo an RPL assessment to demonstrate the requisite competencies for entry into the programme.
