Internationalisation and Partnerships Directorate

The Internationalisation and Partnerships Directorate, a division within the Department of Institutional Advancement, is responsible for institutional partnerships, institutional relations, and institutional visits and delegations. We are Unisa’s main contact point for all such national and international matters.

It is our purpose to position Unisa in Africa and internationally through support and facilitation of human capacity building for governments, public and private institutions, and institutions of higher learning; promote strategic, mutually beneficial and sustainable partnerships worldwide; and contribute to the development of higher education and training with an emphasis on ODeL.

Pretoria is 75.1 km from Johannesburg and 50.4 km from the OR Tambo International Airport.

From OR TAMBO International Airport (and N1 Highway, 33.5 km) - Head southeast and follow signs:

Follow the signs to Pretoria and take the N3 north (you will need to keep in the third lane from the right as the highway continues straight & “forks” to the left.) This is the Gillooly’s Interchange.
From Gillooly’s Interchange, travel north on the N3.
Pass the Linksfield, Modderfontein, London Rd, Marlboro, Buccleugh, Rivonia and William Nicol off-ramps.
Take the Malibongwe Drive (formerly Hans Strydom Drive) off-ramp
Turn right at the robot. Travel through four sets of robots.
At the 5th robot, turn left into Olievenhout Drive.
When approaching the N12/N3 interchange, follow the sign marked N3 (N1) Pretoria.
Continue along the N3 highway, direction north (± 13.5km), until Pretoria.
