Purpose: To provide students with basic experimental techniques related to some of the theoretical concepts covered in Introductory Chemistry and Physics. To acquire skills and knowledge in experimental work, such as data collection and analysis, the use of computer techniques in analysis, interpretation of experimental data and writing a scientific report. Students accredited with this module will be able to apply the theoretical concepts of introductory Chemistry and Physics experimentally. To develop problem-solving skills required in Chemistry and Physics experiments. To work effectively in a small groups.
