As students prepare for the 2026 academic year, the Unisa Sunnyside Campus has become a hive of activity as students receive hands-on support during the registration period, which commenced on 7 January 2026.

A multitude of students from diverse backgrounds, including first-time and returning students, have been visiting the campus seeking assistance and clarification on registration-related matters. The ready-to-serve Unisa Gauteng Region staff have been onsite to ensure timely and seamless processes to enhance students’ experiences thereof.

Among others, the staff have been assisting with navigating key online platforms such as the myUnisa and myLife student accounts. Special attention is given to first-time students who may not be familiar with the university systems and therefore are assisted to navigate them effectively.

Returning students are also being supported by resolving other registration-related matters, including login issues, module selection and general system enquiries. The onsite support plays a crucial role in easing the registration process and reducing delays.

The presence of the Unisa staff at the Sunnyside Campus and across other Unisa campuses reflects the university’s commitment to student support and accessibility, ensuring that students are effectively assisted as they start the new academic year.
