Unisa Student Innovation Challenge: Do you have an innovative idea that could solve a societal challenge?

The Directorate of Innovation, Technology Transfer and Commercialisation (DITTC) is excited to announce the upcoming regional pitching sessions for the Unisa Innovation Challenge (IC). These sessions provide a platform for students to present their innovative ideas aimed at addressing societal challenges. Click here for more information. 

Why enter the Innovation Challenge?

• It will provide you with a platform to express your innovative ideas.
• It will establish mechanisms to support you to implement your innovative ideas.
• It will increase the number of high-quality, innovative projects funded through this programme.

Dates:

• 2 March - 30 April 2026 (physical pitches) 
• 2-29 May 2026 (online pitches)

Locations: Unisa regional offices 

We encourage all students with innovative solutions to participate in these sessions. This is an excellent opportunity to receive support and guidance in developing your ideas into impactful projects.
