NSFAS 2025 second semester allowances – important update

Unisa students are reminded:
 
  • Allowances are funded by NSFAS, and Unisa can only release them once payment is received by Unisa.
  • Unisa only serves as a facilitator to ensure payments reach students once funds are received.
  • Living allowances: Only 2 months will be processed for semester 2 (conditions apply).
  • Book allowances: Disbursed in full based on registration. 
Unisa will communicate the impact directly to affected students via their myLife e-mail accounts.
