Dr Amir Zada

Research Fellow | College of Graduate Studies

Dr. Amir Zada received his mater degree in physical chemistry from the university of Peshawar, Pakistan. He was selected for Chinese Government Scholarship in 2014 and completed his PhD in materials chemistry in 2018. His research interest includes materials (semiconductor photocatalysts) synthesis and their characterization for energy generation (water splitting to produce hydrogen gas and CO2 reduction to form energy rich modules) and environmental purification (degradation of pollutants) through solar light driven photocatalysis. So far, he has published about 150 research/review articles in very reputed journals such as Adv. Energy Mater., Adv. Funct. Mater., Adv. Sci., Appl. Catal. B, Coord. Chem. Rev., J. Hazard. Mater., Chem. Eng. J., etc. Currently, he is working as a Professor at the Department of Chemistry, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan Pakistan and a distinguished and Senior Member of the UNESCO UNISA Africa Chair in Nanosciences and Nanotechnology.
