Thabo Mbeki School hosts academics from the University of Tartu in Estonia to discuss 'information pollution'

In the current shifting global order, ‘information pollution’ has become a tool of manipulation. Techniques include disinformation, misinformation, fake news, propaganda, and foreign information manipulation and interference. How can societies build resilience against such manipulation? Academics and practitioners from South Africa and Estonia will engage in a South/North dialogue on this theme, with an academic publication and policy recommendations as the outcome. Read more
