Dr Zimkitha Mahlungulu is an emerging researcher with a PhD in Community Development. She has experience in public service, NGOs, and higher education. Her expertise centres on community development, disability justice, inter-sectional identities, and peacebuilding, underpinned by accessibility, inclusion, and participation.
Previously, as a civil servant, Dr Mahlungulu developed administrative competencies, contributing to the efficient delivery of public services. My professional journey reflects a steadfast commitment to uplifting marginalised communities and fostering inclusive environments in both governmental, community and educational spheres. Published journal articles and presented at several national and international conferences
