Nangamso Matebese is an accomplished Infrastructure and Development Finance professional with over 16 years of experience in investment banking, project finance, and economic development. She has led major infrastructure transactions across sectors including transport, ICT, water, energy, and housing, using diverse financing instruments such as debt, equity, and mezzanine funding.

A former Principal Deal Originator at the Development Bank of Southern Africa, she also served as Special Advisor to the Deputy President of South Africa on economic development, infrastructure, and investments. Currently a partner in a private debt and investment firm, she focuses on mobilizing capital for small and mid-cap businesses and advancing sustainable, impact-driven investments.

Ms. Matebese serves on several boards and committees, including the Gauteng Partnership Fund and Sizwe-Hosmed Medical Fund, and is a B20 Finance & Infrastructure Task Team Member. Passionate about gender and youth empowerment, she also hosts a thought-leadership platform on women-centric transport and inclusive infrastructure design.
