  • PhD (Physics) – University of South Africa
  • MSc (Physics) – University of South Africa

My research focus is on the development and engineering of new improved materials for applications in the health sectors in finding cure/treatment to life threatening diseases. My project is aimed at synthesizing and characterizing new inorganic host materials containing lanthanide ions and metal ions to explore their viability as new photonic materials up-converting phosphors.
