Current research centres on the organometallic chemistry of Platinum Group Metals. The focus is on the design, synthesis and structural characterisation of transition metal complexes with possible applications as catalysts, medicines and new materials. The work includes computational methods which are applied to investigate the chemical and physical properties of new transition metal complexes synthesized.
