The Department offers two MCom degrees:

1. Selection degree: Master of Commerce in Industrial and Organisational Psychology (Course Work) (90116) (Professional degree)

The MCom IOP (Professional) degree is the qualification required for registration with the HPCSA as IO Psychologist. This degree entails coursework, a dissertation of limited scope and a compulsory twelve month internship programme.

• A limited number of spaces are available in the program and admission to the degree is based on a department specific selection procedure.

2. Full dissertation: Master of Commerce in Industrial and Organisational Psychology (98580)

The MCom IOP (Full Dissertation) degree DOES NOT provide registration with the HPCSA as IO Psychologist. This is a full research degree entailing a full dissertation.
