Professor Kaitano Dube is a full Professor of Tourism Geography at the Vaal University of Technology, South Africa. He is a global top scholar in tourism, climate change, aviation, and sustainability, and a C2-rated researcher by the National Research Foundation of South Africa. He is well published with more than 150 Scopus  well-cited publications, including 18 authored and co-authored edited books.  

A visiting scholar at Emirates Aviation University, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Prof Dube has supervised and mentored master's, doctoral, and post-doctoral fellows. He holds several governance and management positions in academia. He is affiliated with several tourism, aviation, and academic institutions.
