Prof Puleng LenkaBula (Principal and Vice-Chancellor: Unisa), senior CAS professors and SAICA delegates
Unisa is currently hosting the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) Accreditation Review Team as part of an ongoing accreditation process. The College of Accounting Sciences (CAS), in collaboration with institutional management, recently met with the team to discuss matters related to accreditation progress and quality assurance.
This visit forms part of a sustained partnership between CAS and SAICA, established in 2021. Since then, a series of structured engagements have taken place, including programme reviews, accreditation confirmations and the submission of annual self-evaluation reports. These collaborative efforts underscore the college’s commitment to continuous improvement, academic excellence and alignment with SAICA’s competency framework.
